Ever wanted a midnight snack or just a quick cake fix? Yes, we have all been there. At Mr Rental Newcastle we are beginning our Birthday celebrations and we want to celebrate by showing you this quick "Cake in a Mug" Recipe.

WHAT YOU NEED: (Makes Two)
- 1/3 cup self-raising flour
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of icing sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1 tablespoon of melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 scoop vanilla ice-cream (optional)

WHAT TO DO
Step 1: Mix flour, cocoa powder, salt and sugar in a bowl, stir.
Step 2: In a different bowl, whisk the egg and combine it with the melted butter, milk and vanilla extract.
Step 3: Combine all the ingredients together into one bowl and stir until combined.
Step 4: Pour the mixture into two seperate mugs.
Step 5: Microwave at a high temperature for about 70 seconds (until the cake has risen and feels firm on the top).
Step 6 (Optional): Serve with half a scoop of ice-cream and cocoa powder sprinkled on top.
