Mother's Day breakfast Recipe - French Toast

Everyone loves good, simple food.
Breakfast is no exception.
With Mother's Day just around the corner, it's a perfect excuse to get your chef's hat on and get cooking.
French toast is always a winner. Whether your cooking for your mum, friends, family or yourself, you're sorted.
Ingredients:
(Makes 4 pieces of french toast)
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup milk
4 slices bread
Optional Extras
Whipped cream
1 table spoon of icing sugar
Handful of strawberries

Method:
Step 1: Beat the egg, vanilla extract and ground cinnamon and milk in a medium-size bowl.
Step 2: Dip the bread into the mixture and turn over. (Make sure to coat both sides evenly).
Step 3: Lightly grease a nonstick fry pan on medium heat.
Step 4: Cook one side of bread on medium heat until brown then flip and repeat on the other side.
Additional step
Step 5: Serve with sprinkled icing sugar, whipped cream and strawberries.
