Mother's Day Competition Winners 2017

If there's one thing Aussies are good at, it's celebrating. Mother's day is no exception.

This year we received an overwhelming amount of responses from our Mother's Day competition. No surprise there, we all want to give our mum a hug and say thanks.

Originally, there was only one mother's day winner. But so many stories touched our hearts and we couldn't resist adding runners up.

Let's take this opportunity to congratulate our winners and see what they said about their mums.

First Place Winner:

Summa from Elermore Vale

Here's what Summa said about her mum:

"I never grew up with my mum, but I'm a mum and I'm doing the best I can for my kids to be nothing like my mum."

We're so glad you're making the most of everything Summa. Your kids are really lucky to have a great mum like you.

Congratulations!

Here's a photo of Summa with her prize.

Runner Up: Lacey from Belmont

My mum's the most selfless woman. She would give you her last 5 cents to make sure you have what you need before thinking of herself.

Runner Up: Rhonda from Mayfield

My mum is the best because she makes yummy spaghetti and her favourite colour is green and her hair smells good.

Runner Up: Lochlan from Beresfield

My mum has been sick for a long time now and can't work but no matter what she makes sure she is there for my brother , my sister and my niece and nephew and me and helps us with everything.

Congratulations to all our winners. Even if your entry didn't win, your mum should still feel special. All the entries were amazing.

The mother's day fun doesn't stop there. If your still thinking of mother's day breakfast ideas have a read of our "mother's day - french toast recipe".
